Founding Engineer

We are looking for a founding engineer to join our team. As a founding engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of our product, from the core infrastructure to the user interface. You will have a major impact on the direction of our product and company.

As a Founding Engineer at GenseeAI, you will be at the forefront of building our innovative platform. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the product from its early stages, working on a wide range of challenges across the stack. This is a role for a versatile and proactive engineer who is passionate about building high-quality products and is excited about the potential of AI.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain our core infrastructure and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with the founding team to define and build new features, from concept to deployment.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code across the stack, including backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Help shape our engineering culture, best practices, and technical roadmap.
• Tackle a wide range of technical challenges and contribute to all parts of our product.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building and shipping high-quality products.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar language.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with modern web development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Svelte) is a plus.
• Passion for AI and machine learning, and a desire to build tools that empower developers and businesses.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
